Interesting Google Case Study
Although I would never advocate black hat tactics, this is an interesting case study that shows some pretty interesting things about how Google still operates, despite what they say publicly. In this article "How Black Hats Are Still Gaming Google for Competitive Keywords – Case Study", some black hats create thousands of links to a brand new domain in a very short period of time with no content or functioning interface and still rank very highly for super tough keywords like "car insurance" in the UK. Is it me, or does this go against everything Google publicly says about backlinks and ranking?
